The question of how superconductivity emerges spontaneously from high-temperature superconductors is one of the major unsolved problems of theoretical Physics.
In 2010, the famous discovery by Antonio Bianconi et al. published in NATURE, shows evidence of fractal structure of high temperature superconductors.
